The Great Canadian Flag Project

  • Completion Date: February 2017

About this Project

Dean Construction was proud to be part of the Great Canadian Flag Project. The Canadian Flag is being erected in Dieppe Gardens at the foot of Ouellette Avenue in Windsor, Ontario.

The great Canadian Flag will fly on a pole that is 150 feet tall and will measure 60 feet by 30 feet wide. The entire weight of the flag and pole will be approximately 13,500 lbs. The helical piers installed by Dean were designed to handle the vertical and lateral (wind) loads.

Windsor will now have a special place at the riverfront dedicated to commemorating and honouring all Canadians, those who serve our country, those who have served, and our fallen.
